Veterans Care Service
The veterans care and attendance benefits are crucial yet often overlooked by many veterans and their spouses. Unfortunately, Veterans Care does not typically reach out to inform veterans about these benefits. Regrettably, few people are aware of the existence of these benefits. Major 1 Healthcare strives diligently to equip our families and community with the necessary information to access these widely underutilized benefits.
The Veterans Care and Attendance Pension offers benefits to veterans and surviving spouses who need regular assistance with activities like eating, bathing, dressing, and attending to personal needs. It also covers individuals who are blind or residing in a nursing home due to mental or physical incapacity.
